This calculator helps you estimate the total cost of importing a vehicle, including various taxes and duties. The calculation takes into account the following factors:

1. Fuel Type: Select the type of fuel your vehicle uses (Petrol, Diesel, Petrol Hybrid, Diesel Hybrid, or Electric).
2. Engine CC: Enter the engine displacement (CC) of your vehicle. The calculator will adjust the duty rates based on the engine size.
3. Vehicle Price: Enter the price of the vehicle in USD. The calculator will convert this into Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) based on the current USD exchange rate.
4. USD Rate: Input the current exchange rate for USD to LKR. The default rate is set to 303, but you can adjust it according to the latest rate.

The calculator will calculate the following:

• CIF Value: The cost, insurance, and freight value of the vehicle converted into LKR.
• Customs Duty: The customs duty based on the CIF value.
• Port & Clearing Charges: Estimated additional charges for clearing the vehicle at the port.
• Excise Duty: Based on engine size and fuel type.
• Luxury Tax: Additional tax on vehicles exceeding certain price thresholds.
• VAT: A standard 18% VAT applied on the total cost.
